My sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. There is not enough people like Ms. Alberta. I did not have the honour to know her personally but i knew about her and her unwavering position in support of the grey whales. She was their true champion. Many blessings to your family and to her soul.

I was sorry to read of Alberta's death on the Sea Shepherd website. Warriors who protect the lives of other species are rare and are much needed in the world today. Alberta was such a warrior and her loss is felt throughout that small group. May her warrior spirit live on in her people and in those who knew her.

I may not have met Alberta Thompson in person, but I know we have lost a selfless, brave and compassionate individual. I, and so many others, know and are grateful for what she did to save the lives of whales. I send my deepest condolences to Alberta's family and loved ones.

As a member of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, I would like to express my sympathy for the loss of this truly courageous woman.
Alberta Nora Thompson, and people like her, are the very essence of the spirit of life which flow through all living beings, and those who appreciate that cannot help but be moved at this loss, or the work she did in defending those who could not defend themselves.
There are whales alive today who I am sure would also express their thanks for her defence of them, if only they could. My condolences to her family and friends, may the spirit of what she has done live on in others.

I did not know Alberta Nora Thompson. I learned about Alberta through the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society website. I wanted to express my condolences on the passing of such a wonderful, and unique individual. It is amazing, and very special to hear about such courageous people! I find it so refreshing, that Alberta Nora Thompson was so dedicated to the preservation of life, and the protection of such graceful, intelligent, and deserving creatures; fighting for what she believed in with courage, integrity, and dignity. I feel as though the world has lost a rare breed, for such a vital cause. I know that she will be missed. And yet, in the midst of her departure, the fight will go on. I am sure that those of you who knew her, know that she would want it that way. God Bless You Alberta Nora Thompson! Rest In Peace!
