I wish you all strength at this letting go time. This beautiful spirit respected the nature we now are desperately trying to be guardians of and she moved with the new knowledge and times. The old times had their place and served their purpose but some traditions have to be left behind in their time and new ones started and she did that with strength and pride...Bless you all and thatnk-you for sharing her with us,her name will long be remembered and used as an example of how we must move on and look forward and protect what we would like our grandchildren to experience in this fragile world.

Dearest Binki, It was always hard to leave your warm company and hit the long road home. And it's so hard now to say goodbye and let you go on ahead. But in the many ways that your friendship and example have made me a better person, and with the everlasting memory of your beautiful smile, I will keep you close as my heartbeat. To my generous "sisters" Sarah, Cindy, and Tracy,[you were so kind to share your mom with me], and to the precious grandchildren and great grandchildren: you have my love always...don't forget!! xxxooo

Family, I am deeply sorrowed by the loss of Aunt Binky. She was always welcoming and kind to a long lost relative. Harvey James was my grandfather; Louise Eyle was my mother. We were cousins. Please know you are in my good prayers, and thoughts. Although I could not make it home to be with you in my body at this time. I am there in spirit, heart and prayer.

I only learned of Alberta after just visiting the Sea Shepherd Coservation Society website. Wow!! What a wonderful and courageous woman. Her story brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful for her devout stance to protect our beautiful whales. Rest in peace, Alberta. And thank you for saving the whales. I will pass your story on to others.
