I never had the pleasure of meeting Alberta, but was very touched to hear the story of what a courageous and outspoken advocate for whales she was. Truly an inspiration!
My sincere condolences to Alberta's family for your loss...a loss felt by many, I'm certain.

Although I do not know Alberta Thompson, she is certainly an inspiring woman with wisdom and a great understanding of the world. Her dedication to standing up for whales against some of the Makah Tribes people is brave and she saved the lives of whales by taking this position.

The courage and strength of Alberta “Binki” Thompson, in her defence of the whales is something to be admired and we should all aspire to be able to stand firm as she has. Her effort for the furthering of conservation will not be forgotten, I can wish nothing but peace, love and compassion to her friends and family.
