Amber Nicole
Gallauher
Oct 18, 1990 — Apr 29, 2026
Tacoma
Amber Nicole Gallauher was born in Port Angeles, Washington, on October 18, 1990. She passed away on April 29, 2026, at the age of 35 at Harborview Medical Center, as the result of injuries sustained in an accident in Bremerton, Washington.
Amber is survived by her three beloved children: Dakota Gallauher (16), Makenzie Hadley (12), and Jason Hadley (9), whom she loved deeply. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jackie Procunier, her father, Richard Hopkins, and her grandfather Jack Gallauher Sr.
She is also survived by her mother, Shayne Gallauher-Clark & step father Anthony Clark; her older sister, Jessica (Hopkins) Vanwinkle, and nephews Alex and Victor Larson; her younger sister, Crystal (Creasey) Riley, and nephew Croix Riley; and her fiancé, Jaired Nickell, with whom she shared many hopes and dreams.
Amber leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and kindness.
She spent her childhood in Sequim, Washington, where she participated in Girl Scouts and played soccer for many years. In high school, she was active in FFA and lettered in trap shooting. Throughout her life, Amber faced challenges with strength and perseverance, never losing her compassion or her ability to care deeply for others.
Amber had a special love for and found comfort in gardening and flowers, finding beauty in the world around her. Her favorite flower was the Stargazer Lily. Like a wildflower, she embodied a spirit that was both strong, untamed, and beautifully delicate, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She carried this poem with her:
"I haven't a clue as to how my story will end, but that's all right. When you set out on a journey and night covers the road, you don't conclude the road has vanished. And how else could we discover the stars?"
In her memory, the family asks that you plant a tree or flowers in her honor and continue to spread beauty in the world—something Amber truly loved.
Please join us in celebrating her life on June 7th 2026 2:00 pm at the Jamestown Tribal Red Cedar Community Center 1033 Old Blyn highway Sequim WA
