Sequim resident, Celia Delores Read passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Sherwood Assisted Living. She was 94.

Celia enjoyed camping, gardening, family get-togethers, and spending time with her dog, Prince were some of the most enjoyable times of her life.

She is survived by her children, Mark Read (Donna) and Steven Read (Diana); her grandchildren, Dustin Read, Corbin Read and Brittany Read; and her siblings, Verla Becker, Christine Garner and Michael Garner. Celia was preceded in death by James C. Read, her loving husband of 70 years.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Ocean View Cemetery in Port Angeles. Pastor Mitch Becker of 1st Christian Church will officiate.
