Our beloved father, Dewey R. Marselle, passed away on October 24, 2023 in Port Angeles, Washington.
He was born in 1931, the son of Josephine Toteno and Dewey L. Marselle.
Dewey attended the University of Iowa where he played football. He always considered himself a Hawkeye and loved cheering for the team throughout his life. He also loved golf and enjoyed playing the game with his many friends. During his career, he worked in the trucking industry as director of sales.
In 1953, Dewey married the love of his life Patricia Rogers. They were married for 46 years until her death in 1999.
One of Dewey's biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had 3 children, Cathy, Dewey and Diane. Being a dependable and kind father was important to him and he did not disappoint when it came to loving his family.
Dewey leaves behind his children Cathy and Dewey, son in-law Michael, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother Frank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter, Diane, and his brother, Donald.
We will be scattering Dewey's ashes in a private service at a later date.
