Katheryn (Katie) Marlene Crowson passed away on January 10, 2022, after a brave struggle with cancer. She was born December 14, 1978, in Salem, Oregon. She grew up in Port Angeles, Washington, and graduated Port Angeles High School and attended Peninsula College. At 19, Katie began her career in the hotel industry, working her way up to the position of Director of Sales at Silver Cloud Hotel in the University District of Seattle, Washington.

She was hardworking, highly respected and proud of her accomplishments.

Katie was cheerful and energetic. She smiled and laughed often. She made a positive impression on all those who spent time with her, from friends and family to new acquaintances. Katie found true peace and joy, that she had been seeking knowingly or unknowingly all her life, in her early 40s when she started attending mass regularly with a friend at the time. Katie was loyal to family and friends and loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was kind and generous and always cared for others, including her cat, Jasper Jackson, who she took special care of. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Brenda Crowson. She is survived by her father, Chris Crowson(Judy, wife); her two sisters, Natalie Dimartino (Eliseo, husband; Nadia and Sofia, daughters) and Cecily Woodard (Ben, husband; Amelia, daughter); and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Katie wished for friends and family to celebrate her life and faith with a Funeral Mass. Please join her family at 11 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 22301 58th Avenue W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043.
