Kimberly Ann
Lemon
Jan 15, 1960 — Feb 2, 2022
Port Angeles
Heaven gained a beautiful angel when it welcomed Kim Lemon on February 2, 2022. Kim passed away peacefully at her home after a three year battle with cancer. She was 62.
She was born on January 15, 1960 to Gary and Sharon Kish in Port Angeles, Washington. She was the oldest of three children. She spent her childhood on Herrick Road in the Elwha Valley where she enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, and helping on the family farm.
Kim attended Dry Creek Elementary, Stevens Middle School, and eventually graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1977. Shortly after graduation, she started dating the love of her life, Randy Lemon. Kim and Randy wed on April 18, 1981 and went on to have two children, Christopher and Courtney.
Kim worked as a beautician, a dental assistant, and a Port Angeles School District paraeducator. She volunteered with many organizations in the community including the North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Relay for Life, and Landmark Volunteers. Despite the many positions she held, the job she coveted the most was being a mom. Kim dedicated her days to entertaining as many kids as possible with countless trips to Wild Waves, the Seattle Science Center, and Disney on Ice, among many others. It wasn't uncommon for Randy to come home to more kids at the house than when he left. She was known by many as "Mama Kim".
Kim was a lifetime Port Angeles resident who fondly enjoyed the nature and beauty offered by the Olympic Peninsula. She loved hiking, beachcombing, gardening and spin bike classes as well as spending time with her many friends throughout the community. Walking with her beloved dog "Dodger" was a nearly every day occurrence at the Elwha River. Kim found any excuse to plan a social gathering. When she wasn't hosting a party or decorating the house for every major (and minor) holiday, you could find her constructing her newest polar fleece blanket for the next birthday, wedding, baby shower, or anniversary.
Kim is remembered for her contagious smile, radiant personality, and unrelenting kindness. She was the playground lady kids wanted to be around. If you're ever stuck in life and need some direction, Kim had three simple rules to live by: Live well, Laugh Often, Love Much.
She is preceded in death by her father Gary Kish, and mother Sharon Kish. She is survived by her husband Randy Lemon, son Christopher Lemon, daughter Courtney Gouge (Connor), sister Tami Bradley, brother Spike Kish, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made in Kim's honor to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County and the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Drennan and Ford Funeral Home, Port Angeles, is entrusted with her arrangements. Please sign the online guestbook for her family at
