Marie passed away at Olympic Memorial Hospital July 26, 2023.

She was born August 14, 1924 in Elsendorf, Germany to Georg and Margareta (Rockelein) Hofrichter.

In August 1941, she married Ray Miller at Queen of Angels Catholic Church; they were married for over 60 years. They had a daughter Janet and a son John.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, mother and father Margareta and Georg Hofrichter, sisters Margaret McCammon, Lena Dunlap, Betty Paterson and brothers, Joseph and Hans Hofrichter.

She is survived by her daughter Janet (Carl) Nyberg, son John (Connie) Miller, grandchildren Holly (Patrick) Butler, Gary (Kelly) Miller, and great grandchildren Kiera (Michael) Smith, Sarah Miller, Sean Butler and Charlie Miller.
The greatest joy in her life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no funeral per her request. A Celebration of Life was held for the members of her family on July 29th.
