On June 5, 2026, Sharon Marie Hendrickson Owen, 82, was peacefully called by her Savior from her home in Port Angeles, WA, to her Heavenly Home. She was a cherished wife, mother, Nana, auntie, and friend to many.

Sharon was born in Medford, Oregon, on January 15, 1944, to Joseph and Bessie Stone Hendrickson. She dedicated her life to her family and her passions for children, cooking and gardening. Sharon helped many parents in the nurturing of their children, as she was part of the early life of 36 children over the years.

Sharon's table spreads and yard were testimonies to her love of cooking and her green thumb. If you couldn't find her in the kitchen, more than likely you would find her in the yard. Her warm smile, infectious laughter and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jim, son Jeffery (Teresa) and daughter, Wendy (Sam), all of Port Angeles, sister, Linda and her husband, Mike, of Carriere, MS, seven grandchildren, Brice (Hannah), Jeremy, Jordyn, Abbian (Dan), Madelyn, Emma and Carter and six great grandchildren, Gunner, Brody, Raydon, Oliver, Kinzlee and Emberlynn.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 2 PM at the Apostolic Faith Church, 221 W 8th St, Port Angeles, WA. If you have a favorite memory of Sharon, bring it with you and share it with all of us who loved her.
